About the Captain

Born and raised in Maine, Pete has been fishing since age 16. He started his career on the waters of casco bay as a tuna spotter for the harpoon fishery. After school Pete worked as a deckhand on a commercial tugboat on the east coast. During this time he learned navigation and seamanship. At age 22 he began his career as a lobsterman in Portland, Maine. During this time Pete acquired his 100 ton Us Coast Guard Captains and Registered Maine Tidewater Guide Licenses.

Pete's lifelong dream was to operate a charter boat (teazercharters.com) and share his passion for fishing with others. His 20+ years working in this area has given him a wealth of knowledge about where to be and when to be there to put fish on the deck.
